DOROT’s Annual Benefit on May 8, 2023 was a joyous celebration of the generations of volunteers who've given their time and hearts to furthering our mission and work. Thank you to all who attended and supported the Benefit!
The weather was perfect for the event, held at the Museum of the City of New York, as we honored five dedicated volunteers, Jerry Hattem z”l, Ted Comet, Beth Ann Ditkoff, MD, Mohab Idris, and Hattie Shapard.
Over 200 Board Members, volunteers, friends and DOROT supporters attended the evening's events, including a program hosted by Melissa Russo, Government Affairs Reporter for NBC 4 New York/WNBC, during which each of the honorees was recognized and presented with an award for their service. Jerry Hattem's son Jack received the award on his father's behalf and shared a moving tribute to his legacy.
During the program, we also shared two new videos highlighting the commitment of our five remarkable honorees, which you can watch below.
