Spectrum NY1 featured DOROT's Passover Package Delivery program on March 14-15, 2021.
Over the course of two days, more than 450 volunteers delivered packages and made phone calls to seniors across the city -- spreading warmth, cheer and good wishes for the upcoming holiday!
One DOROT volunteer, Gavi U., shared the importance of giving back, especially during the pandemic when people are isolated at home. “Being able to help others who aren’t able to get out” gives him purpose.
