We are excited to share that Mark Meridy, DOROT's Executive Director, has been named a 2024 Nonprofit Trailblazer in City & State Magazine!
City & State’s Nonprofit Trailblazers list recognizes visionary leaders that make a positive impact on our city and state by carrying out critical work at nonprofit organizations.
In the more than 15 years Meridy has led the organization, DOROT has built many collaborative partnerships and expanded the reach of our life-enhancing programs addressing social isolation among older adults.
Under Meridy’s guidance, DOROT has significantly grown the number of volunteers we engage, the number of older adults we reach, and the ways in which we reach them, with our virtual programming now connecting people across the five boroughs, 37 states, and four countries.
The 2024 Nonprofit Trailblazer honorees have been profiled in a special issue of City & State Magazine and will be honored at a celebratory event. See the full list HERE.
