Birthday Visits are a special way for your family to connect with DOROT elders, many of whom do not have the chance to mark the occasion with friends or family. On the day of the visit, arrive at DOROT to pick up a special package that includes a small birthday cake. If you are new family volunteers, you’ll also receive a brief orientation to prepare you and your children for the visit.
Age: Families with children ages 5+.
Time Commitment: 2-3 hours.
Requirements: Family orientation; participating adults provide a valid, US government issued photo ID.
