GENuine Connections: Program Schedule

If you've participated in the past or recently attended a Zoom orientation, it's time to register for an upcoming workshop! We just ask that you only register for one workshop per semester. 

 

Here's how it works:

  • Click on the title of the workshop you would like to register for.
  • A new window will open up with additional information.
  • Click "Register" to be directed to a Zoom registration page you will need to complete.

Brain Games Mondays, May 6, 13, 20 4:30 – 5:30 PM EST

  • Join an intergenerational group in playing Jeopardy, trivia, Pictionary and more. Help build intergenerational connections and have fun doing it!

 

Mindfulness Mondays, May 6, 13, 20 5:00 – 6:00 PM EST

  • Learn about the practice of mindfulness… the ability to pay attention to whatever we want to be paying attention to with kindness and curiosity.

 

Story Circles Mondays, May 6, 13, 20 5:30 – 6:30 PM EST

  • Gain experience as a storyteller by telling personal stories in a supportive group.

 

Jewish Culture Tuesdays, May 7, 14 and 21 4:30 – 5:45 PM EST

  • Come together to explore Jewish art and culture in this informative and engaging workshop.

 

Virtual Chess Tuesdays, May 7, 14 and 21 4:30 – 6:00 PM EST

  • Strengthen your skills and make a friend across the chess board!

LGBTQ+ Affinity Group Wednesdays, May 1, 8 and 15 4:30 – 6:00 PM EST

  • Join fellow members of the LGBTQ+ community in conversation and connection.

 

Modern Art Wednesdays, May 1, 8 and 15 5:00 – 6:00 PM EST Full for adults, spots available for teens

  • Dive into the world of Modern Art in this engaging workshop designed for teens and older adults. 

 

Theater Games Thursdays, May 2, 9, 16 5:00 – 6:00 PM EST

  • Through lively games, other activities, and discussions you will make connections and enjoy expressing yourself creatively. No theater experience necessary!
